Love your content, as you know, but wanted to point out one very important (in my mind at least) correction for you for the next time you write about the Civil War. States wanted to secede from the Union, not succeed.

Well, technically, they wanted to succeed in seceding. :)

Do you ever wonder what the country/ies would be like now if the Civil War had ended differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.

Read Harry Turtledove. He has developed the most-complete reverse-outcome U.S. Civil War counterfactuals that I know of.
