Many years ago I saw an ad for someone with computer skills to drive a van for the summer (for amazing money) chasing tornadoes. I said something like, "That sounds like FUN!" And my wife promptly said, "But will it pay for the divorce?"
Years later, she saw a tornado not far from out house (And we don't get many of them here in New York!). She confirmed after that that I made the right decision NOT chasing those crazy, scary things.
I read something this morning about a tornado killing 2 people, including a 4-month old baby girl. I think they said Oklahoma. Also watched a video of one hitting a train and it was surreal how calm the two people in the engine car were. Stuff was flying all around them and one guy says, in a totally normal tone of voice, "Shouldn't we get away from the windows?" That one was in the past couple of days and in Nebraska, I think.

I think I caught a bit of the train video, but it's not like they could go anywhere.
Tornadoes don't mess around.
